Staff and VIP Members;

Recently, I can't help but to notice a lot of abuse and players quitting. This is because of multiple reasons, but i'd like to hone on the fact that it's due to the staff. REMEMBER, this is only SOME staff members, not all of them. Sure, they're not on all the time, but when they are on, they don't help you, they push you away like they're better then you and as a LOT of people have been posting, they just plain abuse their powers. Sure, someone might not have a screen shot, but if it is as simple as being tele-ported to the wilderness and getting killed, how can you screen shot that? In fact, most people wouldn't be keeping their fingers on the Print Screen button, they'd be more worried about the fact they're just about to lose all their good items.

I'd also like to state; VIP doesn't make you any better then a normal player, it gives you NO power over anybody and you have NO authority over the server, you can help out and try to stop things, but like I said, you have NO power over anyone. All VIP is, is just a reward for being an active member.

Maybe a review in staff is at hand?

yeah ive been reading post lately and even in the shout box about abusive staff members yeah i started two days ago and the only staff member ive talked to were both ags and seed but ive read the post so yeah i think something needs to be done before stuff gets out of hand. and i have noticed some v.i.p's do act like they're better than everyone else just because when they yell it says vip im currently working for vip because i like the idea of vip and i do agree on everything you said. current total level is 1500 not even near there but getting there

your absolutely right , i dont think seed abuses his rights though , real pk does though , and we have a little bit of proof on that , i hope AGS can look through his staff more  thoroughly.

hopefully plus i didnt say seed abused just said ags and seed were the only staff ive delt with and they're cool especially seed.

I agree Lara, some VIPS do act like they are better, but is that not human nature? I know for a fact that you have done that yourself, I do try not to abuse my rights as a staff member, and I do know some staff members have abused their powers, and I try to act accordingly. I wish everyone could respect each other on this server and all be friends but of course that is very hard to do, and when people act arrogant and better than everyone else, just ignore them because nothing good will come out of fighting on a game, it will make you look like a fool as well as the other person. If you ignore them they will eventually give up, and its not them who won, but you for persevering and holding out. As for staff members acting better than other people, I agree this is not right since we are all simply players playing a game, and they need to understand that we are simply regular players who moderate the game and keep the peace and deal out punishments when needed. I will say I am personally very sorry for the way that the staff has been acting and I know that sometimes I "pms" as some will put it, and nerd rage againt players, and I will take full blame and responsibility for the staff as I see this is as my fault for letting it happen in the first place. Again, I am truly sorry and I will try to sort things out between staff, VIP, and the players as a whole. I shall try to unify the three groups in hope we all can become better friends and rejoic and unify together and make this server the best server that ever was, and ever will be .

yeah your right seed it is human nature but not all humans act like that and when they do its bad that's why i really think that administrator should only be given to players who have played the server a long time and is very trusted only because I've noticed people change when going form mod to admin because as admin they get a sense of "power" you could say and power corrupts. corrupts most people anyway.

i do not think it is your fault for letting this happen seed , once a bear is let out of it cage ( player becomes mod) you cannot control it , it chooses what it will do from now on. ( the mod doing whatever he wants)

its just the CHOICE of staff , thats the only way to sto pthis from happening , you should have an interview or ssomething , to make sure you know the player deserves mod and can maintain his or her helpfulness even with the pull of fame trying to get you to change paths.

Ags and Angel pick the staff, I have no choice in the matter which is understandable, but they dont even give me information about staff >.<. And Slayer, a player shouldnt have to play for a long time for staff, I had only been playing two weeks when I got moderator and another two after that when I got administrator, its not amount of play time but how well they do, and Ags agrees with me on this one. Soon this will all be sorted out so dont worry >.>

Now now Seed, there's no need for you to be taking the blame for other players misjudgment, but in saying that, you taking the courage for them and being active shows dedication and with dedication comes respect and honor. You're a great administrator Hunter.

What you also stated before is correct, being a Moderator means you're there to help, you're still a regular player, but you have been given the ability to keep the server under control when Jack, Christine or yourself Hunter are not online. If you abuse the right, you'll lose it.

yes , people dont think of being mod as that , they think of it as a priveledge to be better than a normal player , not to help out , but to pwn them in wildy and have better skills and what not they dont want mod to help , they want mod to be superior

true , i think AGS shoukd do a thorough investigation on REAL PK and KATIE , cause they're the main trouble makers.
