Yeah, if you have ever seen TTGL, you know what the title means. Basically, we believe in you who believes in us!

So, please, I know we are still bearing the marks of duping, i.e the reset, and st00f, but please, please bear with us and dont complain too much.. And if you want to complain, at least complain to me, who can take it and vent my frustrations later with a knife.

So if you want to take any anger, whether it be "WHAT THE FAGGLE ARE THESE VETERANS? I was here longer than so-so so why am I not a veteran and he is?!?!?!" Or "ALL MY ITEMS WERE LEGIT, I WANT THEM BACK NOW!". Etc etc. Even though I may not be able to do anything, you may still yell at me instead of the other staff members, as I hope you know now that I myself, and myself alone, shall take full responsibility for anything that happens the server, whether it be because of a certain staff member other than myself or not, I SHALL take the responsibilty, so just pm me on here with your yelling, and you may curse, and I wont ban you for it, or pm me online (Ingame name: Seed) and yell and curse at me, and I will fully take it until you are done without yelling back, cursing back, or banning/muting/jailing you. This, is my word. So please, just bear with us for a little longer, and I promise everything will turn out okay.

why did you go as far as to reset the server instead of attacking suspicious players and furiously attack the duping glitch?

Why not a bank check command?

In my own opinion i see a full reset as the last resort but to my knowledge there could have beens some resurrection.

If i may speak for the portion of the community, i don't think we are getting enough information on the current standing of the server or in that case past standings of the server. Could you please describe the current stability of the server and if you believe in your own opinion that the reset was necessary instead of other anti-duping measures.

I know you probably do not want this kind of talk coming from me but i am simply trying to enlighten the situation and in no way trying to enrage you. I believe more detail to the overall situation would be wonderful for the entire community to see.

Okay, well, I havent seen you on in the past few weeks, and I know I havent been very active either, but if you were on at all in the past, oh lets say month? Then you should have clearly seen people duping left and right, even players who have played for two months or more. The past week alone has been hell for everyone, with people using p rings in pvp to completely dominate, blah blah. You get the picture. And no, it wasnt a full reset, just an eco reset, and yeah, the server isnt stable at the moment, but hopefully it will be soon.


Also, what ani duping measures do you speak of? Do you mean like a certain reaction when a person spawns an item they get banned? Or an system alert message when someone tries to spawn? Something along those lines? Well, seeing as we only have one coder (Ags) and he is busy,  we couldnt do any of that. Know this though, I am trying my hardest right now to learn even basic coding, to help the server more.. We tried a bank check command, but it didnt work out very well. So Ags just gave up on it for the time being. Im hoping ill be able to create a working one after I learn more about coding, but its all up in the air at the moment.

We tried attacking suspicious players, but then it was way too confusing and it is extremely hard to actually find players who dupe, without banning people left and right. Its also very taxing, on both the staff and the players, especially when we have to explain to idiots who dont understand that we can bank check, and failure to comply will result in a ban.. Blah blah. Plus, most dupers have at least a little bit of brain power, so they simply log off whenever a staff member logs on.. And we cant ban if they arent online.

I see where your coming from Seed, But was a eco re set really nesseacry? As you can tell (im guessing) most of the player's back in v2-v3 have quit ever since AGS is too busy to help players and the eco re set. (for e.g all the old players like strength, tacoman, bone, paul, etc etc) And p.s i can teach you how to code if you want but id like something out of it since im busy with exams this week But yeah back on track..

I reckon the eco re set was stupid in my opnion. AGS could of just removed all rares from  ingame which would of made the server a biiiit stable, but hey it's a start. ALSO there should of been more staff's online before the reset and also undercover players who deserved it (i.p ban rights) which woulda of slowed down the duping by far. Just to sum it up i'm a bit pissed off at the reset which will result in angry players quiting (eg probably me :/)

well... you can do a server rollback by 1 week or so So technicaly there can be something done about it lol. And sm4sh, it was a sacrifice for the good of the server there were far too many duped items ingame for ags to just remove and put back into the economy. the eco reset was completely necessary ,  as wolfy mentioned , there were far too many duped items ingame to get rid of one at a time , although many people were pissed , it had to be done... one thing i dont understand is how people got veteran.. here id what ive been told ...

People who were online during eco reset were given veteran status ( even though veterean usually means loyal and has seniority) and the people with that status were not affected by eco reset , which makes no sense , because your really just getting rid of duped items that arent being used , im sure plenty of the people online had duped items... so im not really angry , im merely just stating what i know.

What frustrates me is that i rarely come onto the server but when i did play non-stop i spent hours and hours of my time obtaining full vesta, statius, morgians, dragon full helm, dfs, the first vesta spear, and the money to buy a chaotic weapon. I spent a huge portion of my time into this server and what do i have to show for it? NOTHING. I feel that the reseting any server should be the very very very last measures you take.

Also seed, some anti-duping measures would be first off trying to fix the original issue. Bank checks on all online players (not time consuming at all for a small sever like this one) and increasing staff size for a limited amount of time so basically temp mods.

i don't need to argue, i got one as a drop, and if you really want, ask ags for the drop list of vesta. But not just some stupid list of items ask him for the code for vesta. yes you can get them form vesta. that is ware i got mine its a very very rare drop it was also very disappointing drop sense it had no stats

In all honesty, it's only being argued because you decided to bring it up.

As for spawning, any player on the old source could spawn if they edited some of the files contained in their client. Some of them even had the ability to change stats and give ::master.

I said i was angered by the reset and losing items *lists tons of items and among them vesta spear* then strength decided to be all high and mighty and tell me it was not legit.
