not too sure its as much a glitch as just how the game was made. Perhaps Jack just wanted a skill that was harder to master than all the others. Im sure Jack will read this (hard to miss it with that big of font size) and he'll let us know if it was intentional or not. Glad the people of Angelscape are reporting glitches.

Jal there's so much other stats tho that take a while to get 99 (E.G. FISHING, theiv, herb, farming) So i find smithing should be like the rest of the easy stats to gain cuz theres already 4 hard 99's to achieve
